National Institute of Design

Alison was asked to devise a workshop which would encourage student engagement with the National Institute of Design textiles archive. Students from BA Exhibition Design and MA Textiles Design explored object interpretation, the use of material culture within research, exhibition display possibilities and new commissions in response to archive work.
