Film, Fashion and Consumption Special Issue Editor

This issue examined the use of film in exhibition-making across the disciplines of architecture, design and fashion. Contributors included Catherine Ince, Chief Curator V&A East, writing on the film work of Charles and Ray Eames; Bianca M. Du Mortier, Curator of Costume, Rijksmusem, Amsterdam, on presenting fashion in motion and Ingrid Mida, Ryerson University, on the fashion exhibition as cinematic experience. Alison’s article presented the concept of the fashion exhibition as film.
