Dressing the Screen: The Rise of Fashion Film
This fashion film exhibition was devised and commissioned following the successful workshop and film screening programme Alison devised in Sarajevo. Dressing the Screen explored the origins, history and the pioneering role UK film makers and designers have played in the development of fashion film. Over 100 films were exhibited including work from Alexander McQueen, Tim Walker, Hussein Chalayan and Gareth Pugh and presented as part of the UK Now programme of events organised by the British Council across China. Curated by Kathryn Ferguson.
