Cabinet Stories: Curators in the Community

Alison devised Cabinet Stories as a touring project which took displays on fashion and dress to audiences with limited access to the arts. Curatorial colleagues – Carol Tulloch (UAL); Amy de la Haye (UAL); Oriole Cullen (V&A); Jacob Moss (The Fan Museum); Niamh White (Hospital Rooms) and Jeffrey Horsley (UAL) – produced display alongside Alison’s and led workshops with the audiences. This project toured to a women’s prison; an NHS facility for patients with borderline personality disorder; a home for older people and a charity shop. Installation design by Dyvik Kahlen Architects.
